I sincerely congratulate you, dear ones, and all our multinational people on the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland.

On this auspicious day, which has become a symbol of honor for all of us, we congratulate our brave and courageous sons and esteemed veterans who devoted their lives to the great cause of defending the Motherland, and express our best wishes to their honor.

Thanks to your determination and courage, loyalty to the people and homeland, the peaceful and prosperous life of our people is ensured, the defense potential of our country is strengthened, and the combat capability of our national army is increasing.

In these great days, when hymns of courage resound throughout our country, we all pay tribute to the immortal memory of our heroic soldiers who died while fulfilling their duty to the Motherland.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the parents who raised the brave and valiant guardians of the homeland, and to their family members who have been a mountain of support for the defenders of the Motherland during their military service.

Dear friends!

Thanks to the large-scale reforms we have been carrying out in recent years, our Armed Forces are becoming a real guarantee of ensuring the independence of our country, the inviolability of our borders, and the peaceful and prosperous life of our people.

All branches of the armed forces are being provided with modern weapons and equipment. The combat and spiritual training of military personnel is constantly improving. Our national army is becoming a school of courage and honor for them, for our youth.

Most importantly, the growing closeness of the people and the army gives new strength and quality to the development of the military sector.

Today, the interest in military service is growing among our younger generation, and thousands of our young men and women are courageously joining the defense of the Motherland, which makes us all immensely happy. We see in such brave children our future heroes, future officers and generals of our Armed Forces, and skilled commanders.

At the same time, we all understand that in the current extremely difficult situation, when various dangers and armed conflicts are increasingly escalating around the world, increasing the combat potential of our Armed Forces, the physical and moral readiness of military personnel, is more urgent than ever.

In this regard, we must raise the work we have begun in this regard on the basis of the "Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy to a completely new qualitative level. In particular, we will continue to provide our Armed Forces with new, modernized fire control systems and equipment, taking into account the specifics of the theater of military operations and the priority areas of development of the troops.

We will pay special attention to improving the intellectual potential of military personnel, educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, improving the quality of primary military education in schools, and strengthening the preparation of young students for military service.

Improving the professional skills of soldiers and officers, increasing the effectiveness of education and training in military educational institutions, and creating a reserve of qualified military personnel will always remain our priority tasks.

Social protection and comprehensive support for military personnel, their family members, and veterans of our Armed Forces will continue to be the focus of our attention.

In fulfilling these important tasks, the active participation of the military-administrative sectors, state and public organizations, and the general public is undoubtedly of great importance. Because, the work carried out on the basis of dialogue and consultation with the people, with their participation, will certainly have a powerful positive force.

In general, today, all of us, regardless of what field or sector, whatever position we work in, must become defenders of the Motherland. The times themselves set this requirement as a firm task for us, and our people expect exactly this from us.

Dear defenders of the Motherland!

On this joyful day, when the shields of the Motherland and the guardians of peace are honored, I once again sincerely congratulate you, dear ones, on your glorious holiday.

I wish all of you, remaining faithful to your sacred oath and fulfilling your duty to the highest level, good health, great successes, family happiness, peace and blessings in your homes.
