The national project "Green Space" is being implemented

       In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further improve the level of greening of the republic and ensure environmental sustainability through the consistent implementation of the national project "Yashil Makon", a number of activities are being implemented in our country to improve the environmental situation and prevent the harmful effects of transboundary Garmsel winds and dust and sand storms on the environment. 2 years have passed since the national movement "Yashil Makon" began in our country. During this period, more than 1,200 hectares of lush green parks and gardens, as well as more than 1 million hectares of green spaces along streets and sidewalks were created. At the initiative of our President, planting seedlings and expanding green spaces is becoming a large-scale movement. Thus, in order to implement the national project "Yashil Makon" and improve the qualifications of the teaching staff in the field of environmental protection, employees of the Department of Childhood Diseases together with students planted 50 tree seedlings on the territory of the clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy. It is worth noting that the tradition of planting trees is more relevant today than ever. The fact that most events held in our country with the participation of international organizations and foreign delegations traditionally end with the planting of seedlings serves to improve the environmental culture of the population.
