      The 542nd anniversary of the birth of our great ancestor Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur is widely celebrated throughout our country. The life and work of a great representative of Uzbek classical literature, historian, statesman, talented commander, king and poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, his rich spiritual heritage, and scientific works are being remembered. The importance of the invaluable works he created in world development, the development of science, and the role they played in raising the spirituality of our people, especially the younger generation, is incomparable. The written sources of Arab, Persian, Chinese, Indian, and Central Asian authors on the ancient and medieval history of our country contain a wealth of information about the history of the Jizzakh oasis. Among these sources, the work of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur “Boburnoma” about the history of the Jizzakh oasis in the 15th-16th centuries is of particular importance. At an event with a group of foreign students in our department, a lively discussion about the great statesman took place.
