Independence Lesson: “As One Homeland and One People, We Are Creating a New Life and Future!”

     The independence lesson dedicated to the 35th anniversary of independence was held at the department for 4 courses. The head of the department, professor, Ph.D., M.Kh.Mirrakhimova spoke and delivered a congratulatory speech: Dear colleagues, I sincerely congratulate you on the greatest and dearest holiday - the 35th anniversary of our independent Uzbekistan. May the peace and development of our country, the well-being of our people, and the future of our children continue!

     The aim of the “Independence Lesson” is to highlight that independence was a goal long cherished by the Uzbek people throughout their history and to reflect on the struggles waged to achieve it. Thanks to the historic victory of 1991—the attainment of national independence—the Uzbek people stood tall and secured their rightful place as an equal among nations. In particular, the achievements of the last decade have introduced “New Uzbekistan” to the world and established its recognition as an independent international actor. The “Enlightenment Lesson” provides insights into these very topics.

    Today, Uzbekistan has further strengthened its national independence and ascended to a higher stage of development—an era of freedom and liberty, and a path of creative progress and prosperity. Thanks to the national independence long dreamed of by our ancestors, the Uzbek people have regained their dignity and stature, gaining the opportunity to exercise their rights and determine their own destiny. Years and centuries may pass, but Independence Day—which restored our national statehood, our identity, and our human rights, and which serves as the foundation for all our achievements and milestones—will forever remain the greatest and most cherished holiday for us and for future generations.
